A little summary…
I enjoy the outdoors and the simple things in life, from flying around woodland trails on my Mountain bike or a peaceful day fishing in the middle of nowhere. I try to enjoy the countryside as much as possible. I also enjoy a good design show or walk around a gallery, from a digital exhibition or a stroll around the TATE Modern, I find it’s a great way to find inspiration. I have been lucky enough to spend some time overseas for over 7 years back in 2002. Traveling and working around South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand, Asia, and finally Europe, which was a fantastic experience and inspiration as a young designer, and certainly broadened my horizons as a person. Returning to work in London in 2009 until recently, when I moved my family from Brighton back to the North West. I have worked in a variety of design roles from my early days in print as a Graphic Designer, to digital and web-based roles in different industries around London, I made the exciting transition in UX and UI design back in 2014 and have been in love with the challenges and rewards ever since.
As a UX/UI Designer, I currently find myself being very fortunate to wortk at Capgemini as a consultant on their Global UX Team. I am currently working on a huge project with Global giants Unilever at their offices in Liverpool. I have previously working on some fantastic projects for the NHS helping to design and deliever user-centric solutions to Junior Doctors and Medical proffesionals.
I have worked in the design industry for over 17 years, working in graphic, digital, web and now UX and UI design roles. I have experience working both B2B and B2C for a wide variety of industries. These opportunities have seen me creating large bespoke HR systems for FinTech and retail giants, to working with a U.S based company to create a SAAS system for the U.S automotive industry.
